EMA has been attending Iridium conferences for years now and this year the conference took place in San Antonio, Texas (February 3-5, 2014).
Our leading product presented at the conference this year was an Iridium based SSAS terminal – the BlueTraker® SSAS and SSAS Arctic terminal.
BlueTraker SSAS terminal is a self-contained unit with preprogrammed tracking and security alerting functionalities. On board security alert systems are governned by various internationally agreed rules and regulations as promulgated by the International Maritime Organization – IMO, as recommended by its’ associated sub-committes, principally the Maritime Safety Committee (MSC).
