First-generation BlueTraker transponder with satellite tracking and a GSM communication channel developed.

ConTag project
ConTag with a short-range radio channel developed for the Dinos project: industrial waste containers and truck monitoring.

Hybrid technology
World's first-ever hybrid transponder with satellite and GSM communication channel embedded in one housing developed.

SI and HR VMS tender
VMS projects for monitoring fishing vessels in Slovenia and Croatia awarded.
2009

LRIT certified
BlueTraker LRIT for Long Range Identification and Tracking developed and certified. An ARCTIC version for temperatures up to minus 50°C developed as well.

VMS project in Albania awarded.

UK VMS tender
VMS tender in the United Kingdom awarded.

Laura Dekker concluded her trip using the BlueTraker transponder and became the youngest person to sail alone around the world.

Third generation transponder
The third generation of the BlueTraker transponder developed with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy), IMU (inertial measurement unit), powerful processor unit and excessive memory.

Myanmar VMS tender
VMS project in Myanmar started.
2020

New Monitoring Application
SecondScreen monitoring application ready for VMS users with several new features (web-based application with ENC maps, report-generating functionality, and other advanced functionalities for better user experience).

Upgraded ConBox
ConBox 2018 LCD, a new version of a connection box with an extensive user interface developed. Enables multilingual messaging, alerting and is remotely upgradable for additional features.

The largest VMS project - Sri Lanka VMS
A two-year project initiated to equip 4,200 fishing vessels in Sri Lanka with the BlueTraker VMS system. The project included the deployment of SecondScreen software for real-time tracking, monitoring, and control.
2022

Eritrea VMS project
Part of Eritrea's national fishing fleet equipped with the advanced BlueTraker VMS system, including BlueTraker VMS transponder, ConBox LCD, Octopus tablet for electronic logbook, WirelessGate, and GearSenz sensors for automatic detection and monitoring fishing gear activity. SecondScreen application is used for monitoring the fleet.

Mexico VMS project
1,800 large-scale fishing vessels from Mexico’s national fleet equipped with BlueTraker VMS hardware. The SecondScreen software was also adopted for real-time vessel tracking, monitoring, and control.

ConBox 2023 released with an enhanced design, a more durable housing, new security features, and upgraded functionalities.

Upgraded NetSenz
NetSenz upgraded with a new exterior design featuring improved hydrodynamics, reduced weight, enhanced sensors for greater accuracy, and a prolonged lifetime.

Cyprus VMS project
Cyprus fishing fleet equipped with the BlueTraker VMS system.

Transponder upgrades
BlueTraker transponder upgraded with an advanced digital magnetic compass for precise heading information even in the absence or unreliability of GNSS data. Enhanced battery now enables ultra-long autonomous operation.

ConBox upgrades
The latest version of ConBox upgraded with Bluetooth technology and WebServer functionality. These features allow users to send eLogBook data and other information to the FMC using any mobile device connected to the ConBox via Bluetooth or a USB cable.

BlueSenz Discovery Kit
The BlueSenz Discovery Kit, including NetSenz and GearSenz sensors along with associated equipment, developed and released. Designed for fishing authorities and marine biologists, it provides better insights into fishing operations and helps establish the ground truth for fishing effort.
