The LDK is a type-approved Class III NAWI (Non-Automatic Weighing Instrument), combined with a complete Digital Workflow for EU-compliant first landing:
- Verified weighing,

LANDING DECLARATION STEPS
- Secure NFC Login & 24/7 Self-Service: Fishers authenticate with NFC cards and follow a guided and optimised first-landing workflow.
- Verified Weighing & Digital Evidence: Catch is weighed on an integrated, type-approved Class III NAWI. Each weighing creates a digitally signed record containing the scale ID, timestamp, gross, tare and net weight, linked to the authenticated operator, vessel and fishing trip.
- Landing Declaration: The LDK retrieves the relevant fishing trip and completed electronic logbook data from the competent authority’s Fisheries Information System (FIS), pre-fills the Landing Declaration and supports its electronic submission.
- Lot Identification & Crate Tagging: The system automatically generates Source Lot and crate identifiers and prints QR-enabled labels linking each crate to its species, weight, fishing trip and verified weighing record.
- Transport Document Generation: The LDK generates the Transport Document, records transporter, vehicle, loading and destination data, and links the transported consignment to the relevant lots and crates.
- Integration with the Authorities’ FIS: The LDK retrieves fishing-trip and electronic logbook data from the competent authority’s Fisheries Information System (FIS) and electronically submits verified weighing records, Landing Declarations, lot information and Transport Documents, ensuring consistent and auditable data throughout the first-landing workflow.
