BlueTraker and distribution partner San Giorgio Sein showed off the new Octopus 10 touchscreen tablet computer. Designed to withstand tough maritime environments it’s the perfect tool for fishermen looking for a succinct way of collecting all their vessels data in one place.
BlueTraker Octopus 10 shows telemetry data such as vessel speed, latitude, and longitude coordinates as well as optional vessel data through NMEA 2000 (fuel levels/engine temperature etc) to be seen in a single easy-to-read display.
Octopus 10 has many upgrades available.
Send and receive short messages to your fishermen and allow them to stay in touch with their loved ones on dry land. Fisheries Monitoring Centres can keep in continual contact with their fleets keeping them up to date with geozone closures/quota adjustments/
Do away with tedious and error-prone paperwork by using Octopus 10’s eLogbook application. eLogbooks help to streamline the catch reporting process for your fishermen by allowing them to directly input weights/species for each fishing trip. Reduce FMC busywork and ensure that you receive accurate data from your fleets.
