On 18–19 February 2026, our team participated as an exhibitor at AquaFishery 2026 in Pordenone, Italy, a thematic exhibition area within AquaFarm. AquaFishery is the new topic area dedicated to artisanal and professional fishing. The event brings together companies, institutions, trade associations, and industry professionals to promote innovation, sustainability, and growth across the fisheries sector.
At the exhibition, we presented solutions positioned within the Monitoring, Control and Surveillance (MCS) domain, designed to strengthen fisheries monitoring and compliance through integrated, data-driven operational intelligence.
The solutions operate across the monitoring layer by collecting and structuring data from multiple independent sources, including:
- VMS (Vessel Monitoring System) – vessel position and movement data,
- EMS (Electronic Monitoring Systems), including NetSenz and GearSenz – gear-level activity sensors and environmental observations,
- Landing Declaration System (LDS) – certified, verifiable landing and weighing events.
By cross-referencing and modelling these datasets, the system enables fisheries authorities to obtain a coherent, verifiable representation of fishing activity from deployment to landing, supporting more effective control, risk-based inspection, and surveillance decision-making.
The main highlight of our booth was the Landing Declaration Kiosk (LDK/LDS), which was fully operational throughout both exhibition days. Visitors were able to see the system in action, test its complete functionality, and experience its practical application in port environments. The device demonstrated full operability, including live ice-dispensing functionality, clearly showcasing its robustness and readiness for deployment. The hands-on demonstration allowed attendees to better understand how the LDK enhances compliance procedures, improves traceability, and supports transparent landing declaration processes.
Participating in AquaFishery allowed us to connect with international stakeholders and reaffirm our commitment to delivering reliable, field-proven technologies that support sustainable and data-driven fisheries management.
